Hayward’s Safari Sanctuary – Winter Specials

At the Hayward’s Safari Sanctuary, spectacular gala events, weddings, launches and private dinner parties are offered under 1920’s safari style expedition canvass. The Hayward’s Safari Sanctuary offers accommodation of 70 tented en suite bedrooms and dining seating for up to 160 guests.
This Winter Hayward’s is offering special packages for those wishing to get the feel of a real expedition-based safari, without the expense of long distance travel.
Activities and facilities include Opera at The Oasis, professional body therapists at The Spice House Safari Spa, conferences at The Indaba Tent and a large choice of camp activities including hot air ballooning, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, archery, horse trails, guided game drives and walks, and all this on 2500 acres of prime African bushveld.
The special Winter rates are applicable for groups of minimum 60 persons to maximum 150 persons, and for a minimum stay of 2 nights. The package costs R5,250.00 (incl. VAT) per person per night in ‘Turn of the Century’ explorer accommodation. Guests can enjoy twin bed sharing en-suite tented bedrooms plus a separate Safari Club tent for relaxation, as well as welcome drinks and luggage transfers as part of the Winter package.
The Winter special also includes pre-event food tasting and wine selection on site in order to meet the chef team and sample our gastronomic cuisine. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is inclusive, as well as early morning coffee and tea which is butler-served to the tented bedrooms. Mid morning and afternoon teas and cakes are served each day, along with generous daily limits at our full bar stocked with local beverages.
One activity is offered per day; guests can choose between early morning guided walks in the game reserve or a group yoga session. In addition to this, guests may select one presentation each day and can choose from fireside storytelling, live falconry, or snake, bird and frog identification in the nature reserve, where over 300 species of birds have recently been counted.
The special Winter rates are approximately 50% less than our normal expedition rates and will remain active until further notice to allow guests to experience grand safaris at an affordable cost, closer to home.
