Hayward’s Grand Safari Events & Expeditions is a privately owned company under the directorship of Peter J W Hayward who has an extensive track record in the design and management of big safari camp operations.
Peter’s first tented camps started out in 1979 as small ten man guest camps for friends and illustrious clients participating in hunting and fishing excursions. By 1993, Peter set about creating his very first GRAND SAFARI CAMP accommodating 120 guests for a filming location set up deep in the Namibian desert. In those days camps were strictly camping, using “good ol bow tents” and standard military equipment. BY 1999 Hayward’s was relaunched in pure classic safari style, setting an all new world first international precedent for a viable eco friendly big group tented hotel concept.
The company runs with passion – whether it be re-launching cigars or launching of cars. Taking executives into arena’s where they are mentally and emotionally stimulated seems to be part and parcel of the “Hayward’s Way”. They are always hands on and part of a small but highly trained and effective full time team that assists in all aspects of the safari event coordinating business.

Many leading global brands have also used Hayward’s for their brand and product launches.
