This magnificent 65’000 hectare reserve boasts incredible sightings of the largest, the fastest and some of the most endangered species on earth.
The Pilanesberg is a mere 90 minutes scenic and adventure filled drive from Johannesburg. The Hayward’s Mobile Tented Camp is set within the wilderness (non public areas) of this Park in an area filled with good sightings of rhino, elephant and lion. The Pilanesberg is renowned for its vast herds of elephant, big lion prides, cheetah, wild dog, hyena and leopard.
Experience guided walks amongst the herds, or highly privileged game capture projects and animal relocation with researchers. Adventurous pastimes such as archery, clay pigeon shooting, falconry, quad biking, hot air ballooning, elephant and horseback safari are all accessible from camp.
Sun City is a few minutes drive away for those wishing to enjoy a round of golf or some of the other activities on offer within the resort.
