Expect a truly
exhilarating off the wall big group safari. From the moment your
group is met at Walvis Bay with a fleet of 4x4’s you will know this
is not your average safari experience!
The group will depart through the dunes to explore the rugged
moonscape region of the Swakop River on a self-drive safari that
gets the adrenalin pumping – a team challenge supreme. As the sun
sets off the west coast they head into the daunting dunes of the
Namib suddenly coming upon the camp suspended within a natural
amphitheatre surrounded by millions of tons of sand!
Splendorous dinners done only as Hayward’s can, set the scene
for a safari camp like no other. Days are filled with excursions on
quad bikes, horses, camels or 4x4 to participate in adventurous
pastimes such as salt water fly fishing, para-sailing, micro
lighting, hot air ballooning, boating excursions, desert golf and
dune boarding.

Using the luxury
of Hayward’s as a base camp, special interest groups can charter
light aircraft to visit Sossusvlei in the South or Etosha National
Park and the Skeleton Coast in the North. All within easy reach by
air for day excursions. Swakopmund with its vast German heritage in
a charming small town that offers a wonderful array of in town
activities such as German Pubs crawl, historic museums, aquariums,
African traders and antique shops. |
