1 300 million years ago a volcano erupted. Over time the region subsided and slowly transformed itself into a natural sanctuary. Today this magnificent reserve boasts incredible sightings of the largest, the fastest and some of the most endangered species on earth.

The Pilanesberg is a “malaria free” reserve and is a mere 90 minutes scenic and adventure filled drive from Johannesburg! Hayward’s Luxury Camp is indeed honoured to be able to offer our esteemed clients the opportunity of experiencing a classic safari camp within the wilderness (non public areas) of this Park. Our magnificent camp will be set up for you hidden in an amphitheatre strategically placed in the reserve.

Expect a safari that offers spectacular adventure – in Africa’s very best stocked game park. Here vast herds of elephant roam, big lion prides rule, cheetah, wild dog, hyena and leopard hunt daily. Experience guided walks amongst the herds, to game capture projects and animal relocation. Adventure pastimes such as archery, clay pigeon shooting, falconry, quad biking, hot air ballooning, elephant and horse back safari are all accessible from camp. Experience a classic safari camp that is beyond one’s imagination, evenings overflowing with opulent entertainment and magnificent bush dining experiences.
