A two-stop 7-day raid of dynamic proportions!
Enter Africa though the original safari gateway of Cape Town. Spend 2 nights 3 days exploring the incredible Cape Point, Mandela’s Robben Island, the Cape Wine Route, Seal Islands and Penguin beaches. Climb Table Mountain or dive with Great White sharks. Enjoy magnificent Cape cuisine and theme evenings. Shop in preparation for your dune safari. Overnight in the grand old 5 star hotel dame.
Fully prepared and charter a quick flight direct up the west coast of southern Africa and land in the adventure capital of Namibia, Swakopmund. Board a fleet of 4×4’s and head into the desert for an extreme luxury tented safari with Hayward’s – the world’s leading grand safari operators.
5 Days are spent exploring the world’s most ancient desert on quad bikes, tracking leopard and antelope, sand boarding the dunes, sky diving, dune trekking with camels and even paragliding. We visit the millions of pelicans and flamingo’s and venture into the Atlantic to visit vast seal islands. The nights are spent around the camp fire, or supping in grand safari elegance like only Hayward’s can do, but always submersing ourselves in ancient San folklore, star gazing the night sky with astronomy experts whilst sipping on Cape Brandy and cigars.
Enjoy short excursion flights arranged to experience the wonders of Namibia – from the Big 5 in Etosha in the north to the world oldest and highest dunes in Sossusvlei in the south. Adventurous days learning to Skydive, hot air balloon, sand board and kite fly are spent in this incredible activity playground.
We return to Johannesburg to fly home our 7 day raid on Desert and Dunes over and head off at sun set bound for home.
