We offer two easily accessible venues for Safari Weddings.
Boekenhoutskloof
Neighbouring Dinokeng, North of Pretoria, Gauteng.
Daniel’s Kraal Farm
On the outskirts of Calitzdorp, Western Cape.
Truly Authentic
We cater for weekend wedding groups of minimum 40 (forty) to maximum 80 (eighty) guests seated for elaborate five to eight course dining affairs.
Our tented bedrooms each with expedition styled camp shower and toilet, can handle groups of 60 (sixty) guests in 30 (Thirty) expedition styled accommodation tents. Alternative accommodation is plentiful in other venues on our reserves or in nearby towns.
Unique Weddings
The Bridal Party can utilise the Hayward’s Safari House when selecting our Out Of Africa wedding packages set within our Boekenhoutskloof property. Hayward’s Safari House (www.haywardsafarihouse.co.za) a fully furnished three bedroomed (eight bed) bush villa adjoining the safari camp site).
Here the bridal party can prepare the bride and her bridesmaids / flower children on Friday and Saturday in the privacy and comfort of the villa before being transported elegantly in two old 1942 Chevrolet trucks to the lakeside or tented wedding reception, complete with spear carrying warriors and an entourage of musicians and butlers.
Should your wish to utilise Daniel’s Kraal farm at our Western Cape farm property situated close to Calitzdorp in the magnificent Klein Karoo, the ten bed house (www.danielskraalfarm.co.za) and camp can be booked simultaneously to ensure your event is exclusive and totally private.
