When you book into the Hayward’s Safari House you have many options to jazz up your stay. One of these is setting up a Gourmet Picnic around our Oasis or in the gardens of the house. The oasis waterhole is adjacent to the house and is frequented by ever present antelope, giraffe and Zebra.

Late afternoon picnics are custom designed with our recommended chefs from the region at a charge according to final food and presentation requirements.

Of course as the Safari House is a self-catered facility, you can set up your own simple picnic with your own favourite picnic food and wines at no extra setup costs.

A safari picnic in the great outdoors is a great photo opportunity too. Add to the picnic a host of gentle safari past times such as painting, croquet, head and neck massages, fly fishing for tilapia, a short horse trail amongst the game, kite flying for the kids, or long bow archery and suddenly your picnic has become a memorable event for family and friends in true Hayward’s Safari style.
